Our Approach
At The Learning Garden, part of Inspired Education Child Care Centers, our approach is rooted in creating a nurturing, enriching environment where every child feels supported, valued, and inspired to learn. Across our two locations in Yorktown Heights and Carmel, NY, our dedicated team works closely with families to ensure each child’s individual needs are met.

We believe in fostering growth through a balance of structured learning and play, helping children develop socially, emotionally, and cognitively. Our curriculum is designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and lay a strong foundation for lifelong success.

We also extend this philosophy into our Summer Camp Program, where children enjoy engaging, hands-on experiences, outdoor play, and themed activities that keep learning fun and active all summer long.

Positive Education
At The Learning Garden, we encourage within our students a strong sense of independence and self-confidence. With this at the forefront of our philosophies, we greatly believe in positive education. Some techniques our teachers use regularly are positive reinforcement of good behavior, positive redirection, and offering appropriate ways to engage with emotions.

Family Partnership
It takes a village to raise a child, that’s why we believe in close partnerships with our student families. It’s important to us that we collaborate with our parents and families, giving students a sense of consistency at home and at school. From regular updates to newsletters, we make it a top priority to include parents and families in every step of their children’s development. We spend an equal amount of time listening to parents’ thoughts and feedback.
Lifelong Learning
We view our students as life’s little explorers. Our program gives students the necessary tools to delve into the world around them as they grow and develop. TLG children are equipped to continue their own educational endeavors for their whole life’s journey.

Our Curriculum
Procare Parent Engagement
Procare is an application that tracks in class activities and development milestones that can then be communicated with parents, while connecting those activities to state standards. Procare supports a wide variety of learning methodologies and provides the ability to access and report on developmental milestones.
Easy Access
Email, text or app, Procare is accessible to all family members. Families can play videos, share photos, or communicate with a staff member directly from their preferred email account.
Daily reports
Daily reports securely share up to the minute information that gives families a glimpse of their child(ren)'s classroom routines and activity.
Photos & Videos
With parent permission, live photos and videos can be uploaded on the app for parents to see how their children are doing while they are away at work.
